Winter in Lebanon is brutal for stray cats. Many curl up inside car engines or under tires for warmth, often with tragic results.
We want to change that. With your donation, we can build small, safe shelters that give cats a chance to survive.
Each shelter is built with love and care from waterproof twin walled extruded polypropylene sheet with a non-toxic foam-insulated base, keeping cats safe and warm. Designed for two adult cats or a mother with kittens, keeping cats warm and safe without harming their health.
The cost? Only $5 per shelter. That’s all it takes to protect a cat from freezing nights, rain, and the deadly risk of hiding in car engines for warmth.

Idea
Seeing countless stray cats struggling on the streets, especially during cold and rainy days. Action was needed. While this isn’t a solution for all stray cats, it’s a small setup designed to limit casualties and give vulnerable cats a safe place to survive. Every little shelter can make a life-or-death difference.
Design
The shelters are minimalist by design to keep costs low while providing maximum protection. Each measures 70cm deep, 50cm wide, and 70cm high, offering enough space for two adult cats or a mother with kittens. The base is covered with foam insulation, keeping the cold of the street from seeping inside. For better air circulation, each shelter has two doors, ensuring proper ventilation while keeping cats safe and warm.
